What is different about us?

Every time you come to the gym you will be trained by a CrossFit certified fitness coach.

  • We don’t sign you up to a long term contract and then turn you loose on your own to fend for yourself.  Every time you come to the gym you will follow a pre designed workout plan. These typically include a mobility warm-up, skill practice and then a Workout of the Day. Workouts are designed and scaled to your skill and fitness level.

Every workout is measured and recorded either for time, reps or weight. 

  • By measuring your results, we can track your progress.  And,  because your results are individualized you are competing only against yourself.  Of course being in a group setting is fun and does add an element of friendly competition.

Workouts are done in a group setting to maximize the benfits of team training.

  •  We do offer personal training but most training is done in a group environment.  CrossFit workouts are challenging. Working out in a group helps create a fun and supportive environment.  Group Training ‘boosts happiness’ 

You won’t find elaborate equipment designed to impress you.

  • CrossFit workouts are designed to use your entire body –  the way it was intended to be used.  We don’t use equipment to isolate muscles from the rest of your body.   CrossFit teaches you to use your entire body in a way that improves your posture, strengthens your back and core, increases bone density and improves cardiovascular health without endless hours of long training sessions.

  • Crossfit methods are increasingly being used by sports teams and professional athletes with impressive results.

CrossFit workouts are challenging .

  • CrossFit workouts are challenging both physically and mentally.  Because the workouts are challenging, the mental part of the training takes on a greater role.  As you progress through these difficult workouts your body gets stronger and so does your mind. You will gain more confidence and life’s challenges get easier.
